David Rhine, MD
David Rhine, MD, is the Council Chair of Clinical Electrophysiology for CorVita Science Foundation (CSF).
Dr. David Rhine is an electrophysiologist with over ten years of experience. Dr. Rhine is a dedicated faculty member, educating medical students and cardiology fellows. In addition to training new physicians, his clinical interests are ablation of complex arrhythmias including both atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia along with laser lead extraction. He has embraced new ground-breaking therapies including left atrial appendage closure procedures which obviate the need for blood thinners in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. Dr. Rhine is currently heading several new international clinical trials in the field of heart rhythm disorders locally in Chicago through the Foundation.
He’s published in several medical journals, including the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology and the American Journal of Cardiology and presented a myriad of abstracts at Heart Rhythm Society as well as Heart Failure Society of America.
