Managing Heart Failure and Preventing Sudden Death 2019: Best Practice Series

CorVita Science Foundation is hosting its second 2019 continuing education program, Managing Heart Failure and Preventing Sudden Death 2019: Best Practice Series in April.


Heart and vascular diseases continue to pose significant threats to well-being in our society. The CorVita Science Foundation programs continue to lead care by linking clinical trials and education in treating cardiovascular diseases. Our distinguished members are proud of their roots in education and want to communicate advances in cardiac science and therapeutics to patients, allied health professionals and referring doctors. The CorVita Science Foundation now presents Managing Heart Failure and Preventing Sudden Death 2019: Best Practice Series in order to link our innovative scientific pursuits to our clinical expertise.  

The goals of this educational event include: updating participants on the latest advances in cardiac science, new therapeutics and evidence-based management, and cutting-edge science and technology in the treatment and management of heart and vascular disease. 

Dates of Program: Tuesday, April 9th and Thursday, April 25th  Cocktail Reception, Registration and Dinner beginning at 6:00pm, Meeting Adjourn by 8:00pm

Location: Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn located at 9333 S. Cicero Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453

Target Audience: The intended audience General Practitioners, Internists, Cardiologists, Hospitalists, Cardiac-Thoracic and Vascular Surgeons, Electrophsiologists and Interventional Cardiologists as well as Medical Students and allied healthcare professionals who are interested in the management of heart disease.

Educational Grants and Funding: A complete list of commercial support received was provided in the conference materials and can be requested at connect@corvitahealth.org. 

The American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). ACOI designates this live activity for a maximum of AOA Category 1-A Specialty (internal medicine) CME credits to be awarded. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the educational activity.
